Free shipping is available for domestic orders over $50 only. PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses will be delivered via USPS, all other packages will be shipped by USPS or UPS Ground. Please allow 2-3 additional business days for deliveries in Hawaii and Alaska.
Modular Robotics also offers United States Postal Service (USPS) or UPS shipping for orders. If you’ll be shipping to a PO box, please keep in mind that UPS will not deliver to these locations and you must select the USPS option. Packages unable to be delivered by UPS will be returned to us and re-shipped USPS at the recipient’s expense. We’ll ship your order out on the same day that you place it if it meets the criteria below:
- Order is placed on the Modular Robotics website before 2PM MT on a regular business day (Monday-Friday)
- A UPS shipping option has been selected
- All items are in stock
- Your order is paid in full
- Your order is not a PO order or Reseller order
We fill all other orders as soon as possible. Due to normal variations in order volume, this may be up to 2 business days. Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a Shipping Confirmation email with tracking information. We do not accept C.O.D. orders, and we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We will file claims for packages that are insured.
In general, UPS Worldwide shipping options are faster and more reliable than USPS. Please select a UPS option if you require a guarantee that your package will arrive by a specific date. USPS Priority Mail International is cost saving but can take anywhere from 6 days to 2 months (seriously!) depending on your country’s mail service and how remote your location is. Any duties and taxes for international shipments are the responsibility of the customer. Modular Robotics is not responsible for any extra charges once the original package has been shipped. If the customer refuses to pay these extra charges, the return shipping and any additional fees will be taken out of the cost of the order, with any remaining funds being refunded to the recipient.
Sales tax is charged on all orders shipped to Colorado. If you’re in Colorado but have a tax-exempt status, please first register as a customer. Then, email a copy of your exemption certificate to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll apply the exemption to your account and reply to your email to let you know. At that point you will be able to place your order as normal, and tax won’t be added at checkout.
Customers are responsible for all address and contact information entered while ordering. Please contact us as soon as possible if you believe you've made an error. If a package requires reshipping or rerouting, the customer is responsible for any incurred charges. Additional incurred charges must be paid in full before a second delivery attempt is made.
If any item arrives damaged due to shipping, immediately snap some photos of the damage to the box and contents and contact the carrier. Keep all shipping cartons and email Modular Robotics as soon as possible at email@example.com.
Shipping and Handling Charges.
Shipping and handling charges are non refundable. We are not responsible for shipping charges on merchandise being returned to us for warranty replacement or refund.
Failure to Pay International Duties and Taxes.
All duties and fees incurred after your shipment leaves our factory are the responsibility of the recipient. If your package is returned to Modular Robotics due to failure to pay customs duties or VAT fees, you will be refunded the total remaining after deducting original shipping cost, any custom fees paid to release the package, and return shipping costs.
